4. License to Use Our Services

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our website and services for personal, educational, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not permit you to:

• Resell, redistribute, sublicense, lease, or commercially exploit our services or lesson content without our prior written consent.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or underlying course data using automated software, bots, or crawlers.
• Use our services to violate any law, infringe any right, or harm any person or entity.

5. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use our services to:

• Engage in illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity.
• Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or other harmful software.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other user accounts, or site infrastructure.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

6. User Content

Our services may allow you to submit feedback, reviews, comments, or other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, modify (for formatting), and use your User Content in connection with operating and promoting our services.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep the service available 24/7, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform scheduled maintenance, updates, or experience downtime caused by infrastructure providers or network conditions outside our control.

8. Payments, Billing, and Refunds

• One-Off Purchases: Paid access to Go Labas is provided as a single, one-time payment (e.g., £5 for lifetime course access). This is a non-recurring purchase and not a monthly subscription service.
• Payment Processor: All payments are securely processed via Stripe. We do not store or directly handle credit card details on our servers.
• Refunds: All purchases are final once access to course materials has been granted, though we may issue refunds at our sole discretion on a case-by-case basis.
• Chargebacks: Disputed charges should be raised with us first at labas@golabas.com. Initiating an unauthorized chargeback may result in immediate suspension of your account.

9. Intellectual Property

Our website and services, including all text, graphics, lesson content, vector artwork, logos, code, and brand characters (including "Gandro the stork"), are owned by Go Labas and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

• Trademarks: "Go Labas" and our logo/mascot are our exclusive branding. You may not use them without prior written consent.
• Feedback: If you send us suggestions or ideas, you grant us a royalty-free license to use them to improve the app without obligation.

10. Third-Party Services

Our services integrate with third-party tools (such as Stripe for payments or Supabase for authentication). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that information on our website is completely error-free or that service access will be uninterrupted.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL GO LABAS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR OUR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Go Labas from any claim, loss, liability, or expense arising out of your violation of these Terms or misuse of the service.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time for violations of these Terms. You may stop using our services or request account deletion at any time by contacting us.
